Ticketing
CMSI Event Management System is designed for companies that sell tickets to
events. It was initially designed for theme parks, but is appropriate for
theatres and other event based businesses. It is written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.00 and uses the SQL Server 2000 as its data base. The
program can be used with SQL Server 7 or the Microsoft Jet data engine.
- Unlimited number of client machines attached to a network server.
Accommodates an unlimited number of events, allows for shows on the same dates and/or
times.
- Event names may be changed, cancelled or times may be changed as desired.
- Changes are distributed throughout all ticket transactions.
- Events may be tagged as active, pending or cancelled.
- Tickets are only sold for active events.
- Each event may have as many different tickets as you wish e.g. General Admission, Reserved, Child, VIP etc.
- Printed tickets are user defined in terms of layout.

Ticket Sales
- The system accommodates the sale of individual or large blocks of tickets
to groups
- Ticket sales may be combined with the sale of other products or services
or to sell packages.
- Series tickets may also be sold.
- Allows for complimentary tickets, discounts and vouchers. All are user
defined.
- Reports include all tickets sold for each event.
- Available tickets are displayed on the screen when processing sales
- Collects customer data top support your sales process. Below is a tab
showing categories of customers.

Accounting
- Complete tracking of all financial transactions.
- Gross Sales, Taxes, Net Sales and Discounts are all tracked.
- Shift end reports for all operators and reports may be printed to balance
with Cash Drawer.
- Managers have Day End reports and Cash Receipt reports for each business
day.
- Accounts Receivable Ledger built-in to the system so Customer account balances and status is available at all times.
- Print any of the many Account Receivable reports.

Customer Tracking:
The system allows for both detailed customer records as well as Cash Sales. For users who need customer tracking, the system provides label printing and email capabilities, as well as
reports based upon the buying history of customers. For example, if you want to do a mailer to customers who have attended Rhythm and Blues Concerts, you may select R & B as a criteria
and the system will produce the list or labels.
