Brister Software was founded by Stu Brister. We have been in business since 1987. Initially we developed applications for the internal networks of our customers. We wrote applications for large corporations in Human Resources, Inventory Control and Sales Order Processing.

Initially our work was in character based applications and largely for the Unix Operating System. But as the world changed, so did we. We migrated from Unix to the Windows operating system, and the Visual Basic programming lanaguage. We developed on nthis paltform from about 1995 to 2002, and then found that our customers were interested mostly in the web. Gradully, over the past few years our work has changed to web applications.

Today, Brister Software is a full service internet and custom programming company. We prepare high quality websites of any kind, including ecommerce and sites with web applications that require databases. We use various scripting and programming languages and tools to prepare attractive, dynamic web pages.
